We got a new toy around the shop and wanted to try something out. We're offering custom engraved label plates for our builders!

We start with 3mm thick brass or aluminum plates and use our new CNC to carve in the kit model (current production only for the time being) and the builder's name. The whole thing gets a coat of black spray paint to make the lettering and design elements pop, then we sand the plate to get a nice grain. We can skip the painting if you'd like, just let us know in your order notes, but be aware that it will require some finishing on your part. 

We include four wood screws with every label plate so you can affix it to the base. 

A couple quick notes:

• These plates are 45mm (about 1.77") tall by 90mm (about 3.54") wide and 3mm thick.
• You must pick a current production kit and you must type in a name.
• The name must be 25 total characters or fewer.
• We built this little customizer tool you gotta use down the page. It'll get you pretty close to what the final product will look like but there may be some variation.
• We make these to order so they will take a few days to ship, and there are no returns or cancellations
• These are manufactured in our Chicago facility, so shipping will be separate from the rest of your order that ships from Saint Louis.
